January 8, 2019 - Traveling to a total of 26 events during the 2018 season, Landon Atkinson bagged six wins aboard his Hilmerson Sports Center/ Little Falls Auto & Transmission #18A Lethal Chassis Modified. He collected 19 Top-10 outings and 16 Top-5 finishes.

October 19, 2018 - Landon was in action one final time during the 2018 season as he made the trip to the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, MN on Friday night for the abbreviated Topless Nationals. The event, scheduled to be a 2-night program, was condensed to a 1 night show with rain, snow and below freezing temperatures predicted for Saturday. 32 Modifieds signed in and Landon drew the tail of one of the three heat races. After starting 10th, he charged his way up to a 5th place finish in just 8 laps, putting him 8th overall in passing points and earning him the outside of the 4th row for the main event. During the feature, Landon picked his way forward and wrapped up his season with a top five finish.

September 29, 2018 - Landon was in action at the Madison Speedway in Madison, MN this past weekend for the Madtown Showdown on Friday and Saturday. Friday night, Landon started third and won his heat race and then started and finished third in the main event on a rubbered up track. Saturday night, Landon raced from 5th to 3rd in his heat and again ran on a rubbered up track in the feature, moving from his fourth starting spot to third when the checkered flew.

September 15, 2018 - Landon made the trek to the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN for the annual Wissota 100 with his #18a Modified. On Wednesday night, he raced from 2nd to win his heat race, putting him third overall in passing points and resulted in him starting third in the night's qualifying feature. In the feature, he raced inside the top five all night long, coming home with a fifth place finish, transferring himself into the main event on Saturday night. Thursday night he didn't need to compete as he was already locked into the feature, so he spent the night getting his car ready for the Race of Champions on Friday night.

On Friday, he drew the 7th starting spot for the ROC and raced his way toward the front but was hit by another car as he was working his way toward the lead, ending his night early. Saturday, Landon started 7th in the $6,000 to win feature and raced his way forward to battle for third for much of the event, settling in to third and  finishing there when the final checkered of the night flew.

September 1, 2018 - Landon got back to action on Saturday night at the Ogilvie Raceway's annual Harvest Cup. He had a great night and ended up with a clean sweep of the WISSOTA Modified event. He won his heat from the pole and then raced his way forward from his 6th starting position in the main event to get out front and race to the victory. (Stephen Mastell photo)
